To produce all our audio amplifiers, from HiFi to High End, we draw from a comprehensive and highly specialized know-how, developed over the years to play a clear and precise sound.

Our audio amplifiers are designed to meet our customers needs. They show extensive diagnostic capabilities and have power stages of class AB and class D, integrated and discrete components.

Our portfolio includes both analog and digital (DSP) amplifiers, ranging from devices with 4 channels and 80 watt output power to ones with 26 channels and a total of 1500 watt output power @ 1% THD.

ASK employs the latest DSP (Digital Signal Processor) ICs to harmoniously implement even the most complex sound management algorithms.

As a first-tier supplier, we are experts in integrating our amplifiers in automotive CAN, MOST and Ethernet bus networks.

ASK has been closely collaborating for over 15 years with Professor Angelo Farina, head of the department of Environmental Technical Physics at University of Parma, Italy. An exclusive partnership aimed at creating a new listening environment for car passengers. This objective requires a deep understanding of the interaction between the listening environment and the human perception of sound.
3D Atmosphere
Our new 3D stereo upmixing algorithm, combined with dedicated loudspeakers mounted along the Z-axis (e.g. roof or pillars), recreates a natural, genuine and three-dimensional sound environment. An objective achieved through a joint effort by the sound engineers of ASK and the Researchers of University of Parma.
Clear Sound
Clear Sound is our software solution to analyze and determine level and method of data compression in real time, in order to return the original auditory experience of music. In this manner, an aggressive reduction of data is being avoided and vividness, harmony and authenticity of complex audio signals are being safeguarded.
Smart Volume
Smart Volume analyzes the entire psychoacoustic spectrum of sound and gently adjusts the volume level, preserving its tonal accuracy and its dynamics. So as to keep the volume at the level preferred by listeners using an algorithm, ASK Volume Control, that automatically eliminates sudden variations in volume level when an user changes a source or starts a mixed playlist.
VNC MK II

Vehicle Noise Compensation MK II is the software we developed to ensure a balanced audio experience despite the varied travel conditions due to road, speed or engine load. VNC MK II is performed by adaptive filtering and provides the basis for our new ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) software library.

An in-cabin microphone constantly measures the signal which contains both music and background noise. By analyzing the microphone signal, VNC MK II separates external noise from music. Audibility is defined according to a psycho-acoustic model and followed by compensation measures performed in multiple bands. This guarantees a well-balanced and undistorted sound experience in the car.
